Ludo Kressh is a fictional character in the Star Wars Expanded Universe.
A full-blooded Sith, Kressh thought himself to be the rightful Dark Lord of the Sith after Marka Ragnos died, as he had by far more popular support among the Sith than did Naga Sadow. However, Sadow proclaimed himself the Dark Lord of the Sith, supporting his claims with his superior martial forces. The two nearly started a civil war at Ragnos's funeral, but his spirit appeared warning of the threat to the Sith Empire posed by the Old Republic. Grudgingly, the two joined forces — until an Old Republic scoutcraft landed on Korriban. Sadow staged a breakout, frightening the other Sith Lords into supporting him; Sadow attacked Kressh to rid himself of the threat Kressh posed to him. Fortunately, Kressh had foreseen this, and when Sadow destroyed his flagship, supposing that Kressh would be nowhere else, Kressh was in fact not in the empty ship. Complacent, Sadow would launch his disastrous Great Hyperspace War on the Old Republic. When he came fleeing back, Kressh and his massed forces were waiting for him. Kressh became the Dark Lord of the Sith, but not for long. Sadow assassinated him in the three-way battle between Kressh, Sadow, and the Old Republic fleet led by the Empress Teta system's forces by ordering one of his ships to ram Kressh's command ship, finally killing him, before he isolated himself in a temple on Yavin IV. Kressh would be buried on Korriban in a cave poisoned by his frustrated hatred.
