The day that I was there the site was also visited by an older couple from Oklahoma. Neither of them wanted to go down into the cellar, but when I did go down both stood at the top and asked me all sorts of questions about it - how big was it? what did it "feel" like? was it damp? etc. When I suggested that they come down both declined.
