Lucy Wangui

Lucy Wangui Kabuu (born 24 March 1984) is a Kenyan long distance runner.

She was born in 1984 in Nyeri, central Kenya. She moved to Japan as a teenager [1]. She trains with the Suzuki Track and Field Club [2].

On 21 March 2006, she won the women's 10000 metres event at the 2006 Commonwealth Games with a time of 31 minutes, 29.66 seconds. She participated the 2004 Olympics in Athens, but was 9th at the 10000 metres event.
