Lucius Vitellius the younger

Lucius Vitellius, son of Lucius Vitellius the elder and his wife Sextilia, and brother of the emperor Vitellius.
He served a six-month consulship in 48. During his brother Aulus' abortive attempt at achieving the purple, he became deputy African Governor for his brother between 61-62AD but was later hanged by Vespasian's supporters on 11 July 69AD, as were his brother and his nephew.
