Luci Baines Johnson

Luci Baines Johnson Nugent Turpin (born July 2, 1947), is the younger daughter of Lady Bird Johnson and her husband the former president, Lyndon Johnson. Her older sister is Lynda Bird Johnson Robb.

Though just nineteen, Luci Baines Johnson married Patrick John Nugent (July 8, 1943) in a high-profile wedding. They had four children: Patrick Lyndon (1967), now a pilot in San Antonio, Nicole (1970), Rebekah (1974) and Claudia (1976). The Nugent marriage was annulled in 1979.

Today, Luci is Chairman of the Board and "hands on" manager of the LBJ Holding Company, a multimillion-dollar media empire. She is married to Canadian financier Ian Turpin. She has served on multiple civic boards, raising funds for the American Heart Association, acting as trustee of Boston University, and as a member of the advisory board of the Center for Battered Women.
