From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lucas Valley is an unincorporated area north of the city of San Rafael which is in Marin County, California, USA. Located in a small valley, the surrounding hills have been left wild and beautiful. Built around Lucas Valley Road, which is popular with bicyclists and motorcyclists, the area is the home of George Lucas's Skywalker Ranch – though there is no connection between the name of the valley and the famous film maker; the area was named after a pioneer family. Alec Govi lives here, as well as David Pascoe, Michael Cresalia, Patrick McCann, Kevin Claypool, and Pierce "Blake" Walsh. also home of the LVG.
