Luana Piovani

Luana Piovani (born August 29, 1976 in Jaboticabal is a Brazilian actress and model.
In 1990, she joined the Brazilian chapter of Ford Models, starting her modeling career. In the following year, she would spend 3 months in Japan for a modeling job.
In 1992, she would start her acting career with a role in the Globo Tv miniseries Sex Appeal, although continuing to work as a model primarily (which included another longer trip to Japan).
Piovani would start focusing on her acting career only in 1994, when a role in another Globo Tv show, Você Decide, would open the doors for roles in Brazilian soap operas as of 1995 — year in which she also debuted in feature films, with Luis Ferré's Super Colosso. In 1996 she debuted in the theatre, with the play Nó de gravata (bowtie).
In the end of the nineties, Luana lived in New York and presented the "Tudo de bom" show, produced and exhibited in the Brazilian MTV Network station.
