Welcome!

Hello, LSUsoccerbum, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Again, welcome!
Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Chad koppes may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. On Wikipedia, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. Karmafist 22:35, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:PortEads1920.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:PortEads1920.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 01:10, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] LSUoverUSC Argument

An article you started, LSUoverUSC Argument, has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this was more of an essay than an encyclopedia article. Please see WP:NOT for the relevant guidelines. If you can edit the article to be more encyclopedic, please do so.

If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the {{prod}} template, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If the tag is removed without the article being improved, the article may face deletion through debate at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion.

Please consider helping Wikipedia out by improving our existing articles. Category:Wikipedia articles needing copy edit lists articles which have grammar problems. NickelShoe 15:50, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] BCS article

Please don't cut-and-paste material from your soon-to-be-deleted article LSUoverUSC Argument into the BCS page. Further such edits will be treated as vandalism. What is currently in the LSU/USC Controversy section is sufficient, and anything more will detract from the clarity of the page. We are aiming for concision here, not meandering tangents and links to your own website. Raggaga 17:09, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your pix

Hi there, neighbor across the Parish Line. Did you ride out Katrina in Metairie? Do you have any other original pix of the early aftermath you'd be willing to share? Cheers, -- Infrogmation 00:36, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
