Is the blurring of the artist, etc necessary? It looks so horrible that the image ought to be removed entirely. Sidar 01:00, 22 May 2006 (UTC)

yes the blurring IS needed. The con reasons for it are basically, people don't like it, but we can NOT really use it on Gramophone record since the cover it's copyrighted and the only possible defense we could have argued (which is used, say on Album articles to display the cover) which is fair use doens't apply here.
