[edit] Library Image by User:Matt605

Matt605, the anon user was right in removing the self credit. Although Image:Loyola nola monroe library.JPG is a fine picture, the Wikipedia:Image use policy (User-created images section) states: "All photo credit should be in a summary on the image description page." Hence, the basis for a revert.

You also state that the picture was "intended to appear as credited when uploaded." Unfortunately having released the image into public domain you grant everyone the permission to use your image for whatever purpose they see fit. People don’t even have to appropriatly credit you.

Please read this- License selection to preserve your rights in the future. For example, a CreativeCommons license requires attribution to the author. Best regards, --Riurik 05:04, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

You're right. I do not dispute the legality of any use of images I have released. I never have.Matt605 17:36, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
Ok. Do you want to incorporate your pic back into the article?--Riurik 18:21, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
