Basic info: Person of indeterminate but youthful age, somewhere in the Midwest, male, spews awesomeness from every pore, is incredibly modest.
Lives with: Brother (younger), parents, 2 cats, assorted microscopic beings, bugs
Addictions: Things in asterisks *is happy* and semicolons; also likes elipses . . . and userboxes.
Political Leanings: Strongly left.
Technology-wise: Mac faithful in every sense of the word, has an iPod mini, iBook G4, is not sure how he feels about Mac transition. Enjoys digital photography immensely and uses iPhoto and 5-megapixel Kodak camera, xtreme web designer and graphic design person, yo.
Webfulness: I have a main, frequently updated blog here (LJ) and a political punditry blog over yonder. Mostly go by lowfatsourcreme except on AIM which I made many moons ago before the lowfatness was spawned. (Don't ask about the name. It's a far too long story). Spends too long on web/computer, used to hang out at Spymac before it went into a huge fiasco and emerged terrible, spends more time at Wikipedia, also on The Daily Page forum and various other places but not really. I keep making websites and not finishing them, so I have no website.
Has a flickr, although it's mostly a repository for linking from my LJ.
Defects: Mildly hypochondriacal, oftentimes a bit too introverted for my own good, procrastination, nearsightedness (which keeps getting worse). According to the dentist, unhealthy gums.
Curriculars: Hate history, mostly because I keep getting terrible teachers, very interested in science, math, other random bits of stuff, learning Spanish, "learning" Hebrew
Extracurriculars: Yes, I'm on math team, and a political-informing type club, as well as continuing to do Future Problem Solving. Mock trial, but it's ended for the year; Science Olympiad if I had the time, and probably other things if I (a) had time and (b) they didn't meet on days I can't come. Also do youth symphony, in which I play the viola. Which is an awesome instrument.
In the summer, I love to backpack, and have gone to the Porcupine Mountains, Rocky Mountain National Park, Boundary Waters Canoe Area, the Bighorn Mountains, the Spanish Peaks, and am headed to the Wind River Peaks this summer.
Is annoyed by: Singers with nasally voices, people who rabidly spew opinions because they think it makes them informed and political
Using: Camino, the overpriced notebook phenomenon that is the Moleskine (or, when I remember to take it with me), Mac OS X "Tiger", the cancerous wonder that is the Nalgene (although not as much), lusting after Chaco sandals, Crazy Creek chair
