Lower Trail, Pennsylvania

The Lower Trail (Lower rhymes with "flower") is a 16-mile-long biking, hiking and horseback riding trail that runs from Alfarata to Flowing Spring in central Pennsylvania. It follows the path of the Pennsylvania Railroad corridor along the Juniata River and the old Pennylvania Canal. Trailheads are located at Alfarata Station (near Alexandria), Mt. Etna Station, Cove Dale Station, Williamsburg Station, Grannis Station, and Flowing Spring Station.
