Lowell General Hospital

Lowell General Hosptial is an independent, not-for-profit hosptial serving the Greater Lowell area. Lowell General was organized and incorporated in 1891. The main campus is located in the Pawtucketville section of Lowell. It has 200 Beds, 38 bassinets, and a 21-bed Transitional Care Unit. It also offers a Caner Center with support in collaboration with Dana-Farber/Partners CancerCare in Boston. In recent years they have added a Surgery Center at Drum Hill in Chelmsford, MA. The Center handles moslty same-day surgery. There is also a Women's Imaging Center in Chelmsford, MA.
