Lovely By Surprise

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lovely By Surprise is an American film made in 2006.

[edit] Overview

The movie, directed by Kirt Gunn, is notable for several reasons:

  • Prior to its release as a full-length feature film, segments of the film were broadcast online in several "webisodes".
  • The movie is also notable that it is essentially half of a story; it is significantly related in narrative to the movie The Neverything, which was also shown on the web.
  • The production, promotion and release of the film is significantly tied to commerical promotion; "Lovely By Surprise" was made under the provision of Lincoln, a division of Ford Motor Company, and Mercury is using its broadcast of the "webisodes" as an alternative to traditional marketing channels.
