"Love Thing" is a pop song performed by the Spice Girls, released on their debut album Spice. "Love Thing" was one of the earliest songs chosen to be released on the album.

Virgin Records wanted to release it as their debut single, but the girls adamantly pushed to release "Wannabe" instead, citing that if "Wannabe" was not their debut single, it would've never gotten released. Virgin ultimately gave in, and "Wannabe" was released, leaving "Love Thing" as an commercially unreleased single.^[1]
