Ricardo and Pee-wee dance to the nutcracker, ending with Ricardo picking Pee-wee up, spinning him around faster and faster, and finally throwing him. Miss Yvonne tries to show the hula but she needs a grass skirt, the kind that swish around. Jambi hears this and says, "Swish? Did someone say swish?" Then Yvonne gets dressed into a flowery top, a grass skirt, and barefoot and tells a story about Hawaiians whil doing the hula:

On the island of Oahu
Lived a wahini
That's a girl
Who loved a kane
That's a boy
And he played his ukulele
While she sang of the hokulu
Those are stars up in the sky
And soon, they were married
And they started raising cain.

Then she does a different kind of hula dance, one that is done like a Hawaiian war dance (complete with Hawaiian drums in the background). Then she bows to the camera and says, "Aloha!"

[edit] Pee-wee's Story

When "El Hombre" ends, Pee-wee heads over to his scooter's hiding spot and cranks the arm of the statue down, and the hidden door rises, releasing his scooter. He mounts the scooter, puts on the helmet and is about to say good-bye when Miss Yvonne interrupts him by explaining that he forgot to tell everyone his story. So Pee-wee tells his story: "Once upon a time, there was a boy named Pee-wee, who had a playhouse filled with lots of friends and cool stuff. They had so much fun together that they completely lost track of the time and, uh... they all lived happily ever after! The END!" Everyone screams one last time. Then Pee-wee "scoots" out, and the supposedly locked door swings open, and he flies out of the playhouse, passing Mount Rushmore on his way, as always. The end credits roll.

[edit] Trivia

  • Here's a list of who is reading what when they play "library":
  • The episode marks the second time in which Pee-wee objects to everyone screaming and demanded silence. The first time was in Pee-wee Catches a Cold, in which Pee-wee yells at everyone for screaming when he is sick ("STOP ALL THAT SCREAMING!! CAN'T YOU PEOPLE HAVE A LITTLE CONSIDERATION?!?").
  • During "The Nutcracker", Pee-wee does his own little dance.
  • This marks the first episode to feature a cartoon without the King of Cartoons.
  • When Pee-wee reads looks at the cover of the diary Ricardo made for Miss Yvonne, he pronounces the written word "diario" as "diarrheo".
  • Miss Yvonne makes a sideways comment that implies Ricardo has frequent sexual encounters, by stating that the log book she made for him is so he can record "...each time you score...in a game."
