Love Conquers All

The phrase Love Conquers All (Latin - Omnia vincit Amor, or sometimes, amor vincit omnia) originally appeared in Ecalogue X of the Eclogues, a series of poems by Virgil (70 BC - 19 BC).

It is quoted in its Latin form by Chaucer in his description of the Nun Prioress in the General Prologue.
