Love & Life is the sixth studio album by American singer Mary J. Blige, released in the United States on August 26, 2003 (see 2003 in music) on Geffen Records. The album was primarily produced by P. Diddy, with additional production from Dr. Dre and Mario Winans. It debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, and it is her second LP to do so. The album included four singles: "Love @ 1st Sight" (featuring Method Man), "Ooh!", "Not Today" (featuring Eve) and "It's A Wrap".
The album, however, has been proclaimed as a disappointment by most critics. Many critics called it Mary's worst album, with "Just Driven recycled Hip Hop". However, All Music gave it 4 stars and said the album "bemaed with joy" and Rolling Stone gave it three stars, saying "You may not always love Blige's music, but you will feel her". The CD has also suffered sluggish sales. The album has been Mary's worst selling album, but it was still certified Platinum by the RIAA.
