[edit] Character History

Louise Summers began as an administrative assistant at Hollyoaks Community College despite the fact she hated the students and their petty problems. She now works at Evissa, the beauty salon which she co-owns and manages. She is feisty but has few friends, her previous best friends have been Becca Dean (deceased), the Burton twins (deceased), and Mandy Hutchinson (left in 06). Initially her character could have been described as a man-eater as she aggressively seduced Ben Davies. More recently she has shown a softer side by dating local good guy, Calvin Valentine.

During the date rape sagas Louise was drugged by Andy Holt, but thanks to Joe Spencer, managed to escape being raped. She then went on to spearheaded the campaign to find the village rapist. She also helped talk Dannii down from the edge of the college roof after she felt suicidal after being raped by Andy.

Later estranged husband Sean Kennedy followed her to Hollyoaks and in order to pursue another relationship. She maintained a cool exterior and asked Sean bluntly for a divorce on the grounds of his numerous infidelities. While she denied she had feelings for him it became obvious that she did, as she became annoyed when he flirted with other girls. They eventually reconciled but could not survive the appearance of Warren Fox, an old friend of Sean and Louise's, whom Sean had put in prison.

Sean had a debt to Warren for whistleblowing on him and sending him to prison for 18 months. Warren had returned for his collection of £100000, which of course Sean did not have after setting up Evissa. However, instead of the money, Sean offered Warren Louise, for one night. Louise reluctantly agreed under the impression it is Warren's idea.

When Louise meets Warren in a hotel room, she soon finds out it is her husband who put forward the idea. She returned to Sean, who is in a state of anxiety, leading him to believe that she has gone through with sleeping with Warren.

In reality, they did not but Louise desperately did not want to believe Warren when he told her the truth about the 'deal'. As Sean continued to lie she asked him to leave Chester for good. Due to his debt to Warren and guilt he felt for Louise he is forced to sign his business and flat to them. Warren and Louise now work and live together but are not in a relationship.

She has divorced Sean and has now moved on. Through work she became good friends with Sophie Burton and Mel Burton and was very upset when they died in a tragic fire started by serial rapist, Sam Owen. She has become good friends with Carmel McQueen, another employee. Frankie Osborne also works for her at Evissa.

There is some chemistry between Warren and Louise but nothing will happen there any time soon. They went on a date of sorts which ended abruptly when Warren snorted cocaine with Claire Cunningham in the toilets of The Loft. Louise is anti-drugs. She is now dating nice guy and family guy, Calvin Valentine partly because he is a nice guy and partly because his police uniform is a turn on.

More recently; Sean turned up in the village asking for money off louise saying he betrayed her and making all sorts of accusations. She offered him 100 pounds and he refused saying he needed Ten Grand. They had a scuffle, and this resulted in Sean hitting Louise and running off.

Then when she offered Sean half of what he wanted after finding him hiding in her home, he did not hit her, only demand it sooner.

When Warren returned from his brief stay in Leeds, he found Louise sporting a nasty black eye. Louise tried to lie to Warren and say that it was a random burgular at Evissa but Warren wasn't to be fobbed off. Louise eventually had to admit that she needed help, she needed money. Warren did ask whom the money was for but all Louise was prepared to say was that she was in debt and needed to pay it off. Warren came up with the goods, but before that, he managed to find out that Sean was the guy Louise owed money to from Zak Ramsey, whom was in Evissa at the time Sean visited Louise, but left before anything happened. Warren then made Louise tell him everything, and he gave her the money to give to Sean. Unknown to Louise, before Sean managed to flit off into the sunset with Warren and hers money, Warren locked him in a cab and drove off, we do not know exactly what Warren has done to Sean, but Warren does have the money back and Sean's passport.

Unfortunately, Sean had left a note for Louise's then current boyfriend, copper Calvin, saying that Louise had taken drugs in Ibiza, helped Sean out in a business of dodgy time shares and slept with Warren for money. Calvin believed all of this and didn't give Louise a chance to explain her side of things, branding her a slut and finishing their relationship.

Louise was comforted by flatmate Warren and they slept together, Warren admitting that he's loved Louise for a very long time.
