Louise Post (born Louise Lightner Post on December 7, 1966 in St. Louis, Missouri) is the lead vocalist and guitarist for alternative rock group Veruca Salt.

Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in the English language from Barnard College, New York. She has also collaborated with other indie rock acts, including The Drowners, and Frogpond.
She once dated Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl.
As of October 2006, Post is currently on a United States tour with Veruca Salt, promoting its latest album, IV.
Louise also did a rendition of her hit song "Spiderman '79" music for the recent film, The Still Life set to be released in 2007. It was performed with Dizzy Reed of Guns N Roses fame.
