Louise Marcus is the founder of Cobalt, a rebel group that fights against the Shield Corporation in Highlander II's 2024 setting. The shield was created by Connor Macleod to protect the Earth from excessive solar radiation that was penetrating the depleted ozone layer. Louise had never seen the sky, as it was hidden by the shield.
When she and a troop of Cobalt rebels infiltrated the Shield Installation they discovered that radiation above the shield was normal - the ozone layer had repaired itself. The Shield was unnecessary. Unfortunately the Shield Corporation did not want this becoming common knowledge and all but Louise were lost in the raid.
She contacted Connor Macleod and watched as the old man slew Corda and Reno, two thugs sent by General Katana, and was rejuvenated by the Quickenings. She took this rather unconventional moment to become his lover and eventually the two faced General Katana. She witnessed Connor using Katana's quickening to lower the shield. In one ending both she and Connor ascended to Zeist, the home planet of the immortals.
