Louise Harrison

Louise Harrison (born Louise Anna Imogen Harrison on 26 November 1962, is a British actress. She is best known for her role as PC Donna Harris in the long running ITV drama The Bill, although she also had a part in Coronation Street, where she played the character Dawn Prescott.

She was born in Manchester, and first developed an interest in acting while at boarding school. After attending the Welsh College of Music and Drama, and training in Film Production at the National Film School, she secured her first acting part in 1987.
[edit] Acting Career
Her first role was in the series A Very Peculiar Practice, where she played Suzanne. She then went on to have a part in Gentleman and Players and appeared in the BBC series The River. In 1989 she briefly joined Coronation Street as alarm shop assistant Dawn Prescott, but was brought back later in the year as an estate agent and became Mike Baldwin's girlfriend.
After leaving Coronation Street, she appeared in The Odd Couple at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester, before landing a part in the BBC comedy series The Sharp End in 1990. She joined The Bill as Donna Harris in 1991.
Since leaving The Bill, Louise Harrison has appeared the the films The Contractor, Coma and a movie version of MacHeath. She has also had roles in other TV series including Sunnyside Farm, Slap and Heartbeat.
Presently, she lives in North London.
