Louis Silvers

Louis Silvers was a movie composer, whose work has been used in more then 250 movies. He was born on September 6, 1889 in New York and died of heart ailment on March 26, 1954 in Hollywood, California. Lou Silvers was married to Janet Adair.
Sometimes known as Lou Silvers, Louis Silvers scored the first talking picture, The Jazz Singer in 1927. He was also music director for Lux Radio Theater for most of its long run.
