Louis Lincoln Emmerson

Louis Lincoln Emmerson (December 27, 1863 – February 4, 1941) was a Republican governor of Illinois, serving from 1929 to 1933. He was Illinois Secretary of State, 1917 to 1929.
Emmerson was born in Albion, Edwards County, Illinois and died in Mt. Vernon, Jefferson County, Illinois. He was buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Mt. Vernon.
