Lou Blessing

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Louis W. Blessing Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio, is an American politician of the Republican party.

By 2004, Blessing had served two consecutive four-year terms in the Ohio Senate. Ohio's term limits law thus prevented him for running for another term. At the same time, another Cincinnati Republican, state Rep. Patricia M. Clancy, was also facing term limits for her seat in the Ohio House of Representatives. Thus, Blessing and Clancy ran for each other's seats; both won, holding the seats for the Republican party.
