Lou Antonelli

Louis Sergio Antonelli (Lou Antonelli) (born January 6, 1957 in Medford, Massachusetts) is an American science fiction and fantasy writer who resides in Hooks, Texas. The speculative fiction blog No Fear of the Future dubbed him "heir to old school penny-a-word pulps."

A resident of the Lone Star State since 1985, many of his stories are set in Texas. He is a Massachusetts native and attended Columbia University in New York City before moving to Texas.

He is a professional journalist and has won awards in news, feature, column, sports and editorial writing from the Texas Press Association and the North and East Texas Press Association.

A member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA), Antonelli got a late start in his fiction writing career; his first story was published when he was 46 years old. He received an honorable mention as a nominee for the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer in 2006.
