English: Louis Malesherbes Goldsborough ( February 18 1805February 20 1877) was an admiral in the United States Navy who served during the early 1800s. He held several sea commands during the Civil War, including the North Atlantic Blockading Squadron. He was also noted for contributions to nautical scientific research.
