Lotto was a professional road bicycle racing team, active between 1985 and 2002, when it merged with the Domo-Farm Frites team to form the new Lotto-Domo team - the predecessor to the current Predictor-Lotto team. The team was based in Belgium for its entirety.
Lotto began sponsoring a cycling team in 1984, when it co-sponsored the Tönissteiner-Lotto-Mavic-Pecotex team. In 1985, they became prime spongers of a new team bearing only their name. Walter Godefroot and Patrick Lefevere were early directeur sportifs.
