Lotrel

Lotrel® is a registered trademark of Novartis that is unique in its ability to help with controlling hypertension (also called high blood pressure) by combining two prescription medicines that work together to lower blood pressure. The two medications are amlodipine besylate (the active ingredient found in Norvasc®), a calcium channel blocker, and benazepril hydrochloride (Lotensin®), an ACE inhibitor. A doctor will prescribe Lotrel only after other medicines have not worked.
