Los Patios is a small county in the Colombian department of Norte de Santander and is listed on that page. I will update that page to point here. I am certain as Florentina Salas (mentioned in the park names) is a local hero there.

There is more info out there for this municipality [1] but I get the impression that there isn't much to say and there are higher priorities for Colombia (and Argentina). I understand the remianing Spanish but it is a fairly convoluted history of how ranches were created, merged and renamed as the basis for the local boundaries. It isn't very interesting and requires local knowledge to clarify. Mtiedemann 00:25, 16 Dec 2004 (UTC)

My bad on Argentina. The original omitted mention of a country. I saw Rosario, the name of a reasonably major town in Argentina, saw the mention of cattle ranching, and jumped to a wrong conclusion. So there is also a Rosario in Colombia? We should list it at Rosario (disambiguation). -- Jmabel | Talk 00:58, Dec 16, 2004 (UTC)
There is a Villa Rosario in the same department, another municipality like Los Patios. But I had the same thought about Rosario, Argentina when I first saw the article - it is much bigger than the many other Rosarios that there must be in Latin America.
The article seems to say that it was originally part of Villa Rosario municipality and then No.37 of the province, before being called Los Patios. But I'd prefer to have a map of these provinces before committing to that translation. Mtiedemann 01:12, 16 Dec 2004 (UTC)
I see that the translation is completed whilst I've been 'talking' - seems fine, well done. Mtiedemann 01:15, 16 Dec 2004 (UTC)
