Lost memory (Japanese: 失われた記憶, - Ushinawareta kioku) is the episode number 213 of the anime series Naruto, and the fifth episode of the 9th season.
Naruto finds an injured person in a river, and brings him to Konoha Hospital. This act of mercy sets in motion an explosive chain of events. Since the person has no memory Naruto calls him Memma referring to the name of the bamboo shoots Naruto tried to collect before he found him. Naruto soon learns that Memma is very helpful draging him into helping elderly people who give him gifts in return. Meanwhile when Memma and Naruto are cleaning the hokage mountain a mysterous enemy seeks out Memma. Naruto and Memma chase after him and Memma shows the power of his flute greatly increaseing Naruto's charka allowing him to defeat the enemy. Amazed by Memma's mysterious power, Naruto questions who Memma really is.

- The ninja with the sword who gets killed by Menma, can also be seen in episode 19, right after Gato is killed.
