Lost in Blue 2 is a simulation video game published and developed by Konami for the Nintendo DS handheld video game console. It is the sequel to Lost in Blue (also for the Nintendo DS), another game in the Survival Kids series.
The sequel's main characters are Jack and Amy, two young teenagers who have been shipwrecked on a deserted island. The player chooses to be either Jack, the boy character, or Amy, the girl character. This is unlike the original, which required the player to complete the game as the male character before having the option of playing as the female character. The player is the leader of their camp; they are able to assign duties to their partner and perform other chores themselves (although each character does have specific specialties).
Once again, this differs from the original Lost in Blue, in which tasks were automatically assigned and could be considered somewhat sexist. Keith, the then-hero, was the hunter and protector, whilst Skye, the then-heroine, was in charge of cooking, crafting rope and baskets, and various other domestic tasks. Some chores are required of both characters, such as pushing large boulders.
