Lost Bullet is the second crime novel in the Traces series written by Malcolm Rose. It continues to follow the career of England's youngest ever forensic investigator, Luke Harding and Malc, his Mobile Aide to Law and Crime. First published by Kingfisher Books in February 2005.

Now a fully fledged FI, Luke finds himself sent from the comfort of his home in the North to a slumlike London, where he finds another puzzling murder mystery for him to unravel. When an albino boy in a coloured soceity, a doctor and an arranged marriage commitee are all assaulted or murdered, Luke Harding goes undercover to find the murderer. He also has to face the fact that he cannot be paired with the girl he loves, Jade.
