Lorton is a village in Otoe County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 39 at the 2000 census.

Lorton is located at 40°35′46″N, 96°1′26″W (40.596122, -96.023839)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.1 km² (0.1 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 39 people, 18 households, and 10 families residing in the village. The population density was 301.2/km² (857.9/mi²). There were 20 housing units at an average density of 154.4/km² (439.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the village was 100.00% White.

There were 18 households out of which 22.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.0% were married couples living together, and 44.4% were non-families. 38.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 22.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.17 and the average family size was 3.00.

In the village the population was spread out with 20.5% under the age of 18, 7.7% from 18 to 24, 7.7% from 25 to 44, 46.2% from 45 to 64, and 17.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 50 years. For every 100 females there were 69.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93.8 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $28,750, and the median income for a family was $32,917. Males had a median income of $19,583 versus $26,250 for females. The per capita income for the village was $14,468. There were no families and 9.7% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 42.9% of those over 64.
