Lorraine 37L
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Lorraine 37L, or Tracteur Blinde 37L (Lorraine), was a light tracked armoured personnel carrier and prime mover developed for the French Army. A total of 387 were built by the Société Lorraine between 1937 and May 1940. It was a similar design to the British Universal Carrier and had a crew of two.
Over 300 of these vehicles were captured by the Germans during the Fall of France and converted into self propelled guns, such as the Marder I.
