Loro Piceno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Macerata in the Italian region Marche, located about 50 km south of Ancona and about 15 km south of Macerata. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,501 and an area of 32.5 km2.[1]
The municipality of Loro Piceno contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) San Valentino, San Lorenzo, and Varco.
Loro Piceno borders the following municipalities: Colmurano, Massa Fermana, Mogliano, Montappone, Petriolo, Ripe San Ginesio, Sant'Angelo in Pontano, Urbisaglia.
