Loro Boriçi

Loro Boriçi (born in Shkodër, August 4, 1922 – dead in 1984) was an Albanian football (soccer) player most famous in 1940s and 1950s.

In his career he played mostly for Partizani Tiranë (won the 1954 Albanian title) and FC Vllaznia. He was also captain of Albania national football team in 1949 (two matches with Romania) and played in Italian Serie A with S.S. Lazio. Today, the Shkodër Stadium (Loro-Boriçi Stadium, built in 2001) is named in his honour.
