Lorne Entress
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lorne Entress is an American percussionist, multi-instrumentalist and record producer from Boston, Massachusetts. Entress has worked with a wide range of artists in folk, blues and jazz styles. Perhaps the artist with whom he has worked with most closely is singer-songwriter Mark Erelli with whom he has produced five albums. In addition to Erelli, Entress has perfomed on albums by many other artists on the Signature Sounds label. [1] While known mainly as a drummer/percusionist, Entess has been described as playing "every instrument under the sun, all with taste and restraint." [2] On recordings his instrumenets have included guitars, keyboards, accordian, bass, autoharp, dulcimer, and mandolin among others.
