Loreauville is a village in Iberia Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 938 at the 2000 census.

Loreauville is located at 30°3′34″N, 91°44′13″W (30.059388, -91.736830)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.3 km² (0.5 mi²), all land.

On April 15, 1871, the name was changed from Picouville to Loreauville for Ozaire Loreau, who had contributed the property for the old Catholic Church and cemetery, and had also aided in the agricultural, industrial and political growth of the village

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 938 people, 329 households, and 249 families residing in the village. The population density was 739.1/km² (1,903.0/mi²). There were 361 housing units at an average density of 284.5/km² (732.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the village was 76.01% White, 23.67% African American, 0.11% Asian, and 0.21% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.64% of the population.

There were 329 households out of which 43.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.3% were married couples living together, 14.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.3% were non-families. 21.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.85 and the average family size was 3.33.

In the village the population was spread out with 32.4% under the age of 18, 8.6% from 18 to 24, 29.2% from 25 to 44, 16.3% from 45 to 64, and 13.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females there were 92.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 87.6 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $28,125, and the median income for a family was $30,069. Males had a median income of $27,422 versus $18,250 for females. The per capita income for the village was $12,158. About 26.6% of families and 30.3% of the population were below the poverty line, including 43.0% of those under age 18 and 22.1% of those age 65 or over.
