This is a list of the medieval Lords of Baux. Currently, the title Marquis of Baux is held by the heir to the throne of Monaco.

  • Raymond II of Baux (son) 1305-1322
  • Hugh IV of Baux (son) 1322-1351, murdered at Gaeta
  • Robert of Baux (son) 1351-1353, murdered in the Castel dell'Ovo
  • Raymond III of Baux (brother) 1353-1372
  • John of Baux (son) 1372-1375
  • Alice of Baux (sister) 1372-1426

Line 2:

  • Bertrand II of Baux, lord of Berre, Meyragues, Puyricard and Marignanane (son of Bertrand I) 1181-1201

Origin of the lines of Lords of Berre, Lords of Meyrargues and Puyricard (extinct 1349); and lords of Marignane (acquired by Anjou), as well as the Dukes of Andria.

Line 3:

  • William I, count of Orange (son of Bertrand I) 1201-1218, and then the line of counts of Orange, acquired by Chalon 1417
  • A brother of William I started the line of Lords of Courbezon (extinct 1393). Another brother started the line of lords of Suze, Solerieux and Barri (extinct; reverted to the counts of Orange)
