The title of Lord Barrett of Newburgh was a title in the Peerage of Scotland. It was created on 17 October 1627 for Sir Edward Barrett, who became then Chancellor of the Exchequer (1628-29) and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster (1629-1644) and was invested as member of the Privy Council.
