Lorcán Ó Muireadais

Lawrence Murray was a Catholic priest born in Carlingford in 1883. He was ordained in 1910 in St. Paul and taught at St. Thomas Seminary returning to Co. Louth to teach Irish.
He founded the first Irish summer school in Louth and founded the monthly an t-Ultacht (The Ulsterman) magazine in Belfast later moving the offices to Rannafast.
