LORAN-C transmitter Balasore is the Master station of the Calcutta LORAN-C Chain ( GRI 5543). It uses a transmission power of 43 kW. Balasore LORAN-C transmitter is situated near Balasore at (21°19′8″N, 86°55′18″E). LORAN-C transmitter Balasore was inaugaurated in 1992.
