LORAN-C transmitter Attu

LORAN-C transmitter Attu is the Whiskey secondary station of the Russian-American LORAN-C Chain ( GRI 5980) and the X-ray secondary of North-Pacific LORAN-C chain ( GRI 9990). It uses for the Russian-American chain a transmission power of 400 kW and for the North-Pacific LORAN-C chain a transmission power of 625 kW. Attu LORAN-C transmitter, situated at Attu at 52°49'44" N, 173°10'50" E,(52°49′44″N, 173°10′50″E). Attu LORAN-C transmitter uses as antenna a 190.5 metre ( 625 ft) tall mast radiator.
