Lophospermum (syn. Maurandia Orteg or Maurandya sect. Lophospermum (D.Don) A.DC.) is a genus in the family Plantaginaceae. In addition, this genus was traditionally placed in the foxglove family Scrophulariaceae. However, due to new genetic research, it has now been placed in the vastly expanded family Plantaginaceae.
Some species are usually used like ornamental plants.
