[edit] Synopsis

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Piper is still having difficulty handling her new power and draws into retreat in the basement of the manor. Meanwhile, Prue and Phoebe hunt down a Banshee, a demoness who kills people by bursting their blood vessels with her shrieks. After their unsuccessful hunt, Prue turns herself into a dog to track down the Banshee, but the Banshee attacks Phoebe, turning her into a Banshee as well as she is grieving over cole.

[edit] Enemies

  • Banshee: A Banshee is a former witch who transforms into a demon to wander the earth feeding on souls in great pain. Hunting only at night, this Demon uses her voice as a high pitched Call to locate a victim by hearing the inner cry. She does this by zeroing in on the waves of pain that emanate from the stricken. A Banshee then elevates her Call into a Scream so powerful, it kills those she targets. A new Banshee can still revert to normal if she can resolve her feelings of grief before she kills her first innocent.(inspiration from an old irish tale about a witch grieving over a daughters death)

[edit] Spells

  • To Track A Banshee: The piercing cry that feeds on pain, and leaves more sorrow than it gains, shall now be heard by one who seeks, to stop the havoc that it wreaks.
  • To summon Belthazor: Magic forces black and white reaching out through space and light. Be he far or be he near, bring us the demon Belthazor here.

[edit] Trivia

  • The title of the episode is a play on words to the movie Look Who's Talking.
  • Phoebe enters her own Cole Turner page in the Book of Shadows.
  • The dog Prue turns into is in fact male and appears to be a white Siberian Husky.
  • Phoebe's page about Cole is where the spell to vanquish Belthazor page is meant to be. However the book seems able to magically add pages of its own, so it may have been aded in between.
  • When the Banshee appeared second time on screen to attack the teenage girl, only the glass on the telephone booth shattered, while the lights and windows around were remained untouched.
  • Note: Leo consoles Piper by saying she is not going to loose either sister but in the next episode Prue dies.

[edit] International titles

  • French: Indestructible
  • German: Die Todesfee (The Banshee)
  • Spanish: Mira quién está ladrando
