[edit] Sathyalal (talk · contribs · logs · block user · block log)

Vandal Sathyalal regularly engages in sneaking rubbish news and cast Cochin in poor light. This fellow also vandalizes Trivandrum pages by adding blatantly false data.

[edit] Samaleks,Rajithmohan (talk · contribs · logs · block user · block log)

Cochin, Trivandrum and Kerala pages is regularly distorted by these vandals. they seem to be working with a gang who, at other times, have vandalised Cochin page. There is probably political ends behind this, as the vandals regularly try to spread parochial enmity, mostly by fudging facts about Cochin and trying to show it in poor light. Alerted many times on the history page. IPs will be reported soon.

[edit] 203.10.59.63 (talk · contribs · logs · block user · block log)

This user ought to be on here because the IP has been vandalising since 2003, and is still vandalising to this day. I've heard the address belongs to a library, so there seems to be no way of singling out the vandal for banning, and I suppose that getting an account isn't advisable if your only access to a computer is through a public terminal. Just keep on your toes for any future vandalism from this user.

[edit] 203.14.53.45 (talk · contribs · logs · block user · block log)

Long term vandal WW2 and other pages. Many requests and warnings on his talk page to stop. Please block.--Jondel 05:59, 24 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] 192.147.67.12

Consistent addition of worthless text into articles, then disappears for days, weeks, or months at a time. I firmly asked user to stop; has since done it again. All edits are worthless, going back several years in fact. I would like to request a long-term block, due to the modus operandi. --Girolamo Savonarola 20:52, 2005 May 19 (UTC)

[edit] The Ecuadorian pretender

Nothing but vandalism since last month, recently Ecuador, Colombia, Chile, and Peru pages. Has been warned repeatedly and keep deleting, insulting and writing not proper information in the above pages.
Seems to be on a one-dynamic-IP campaign to pretend that the country of Ecuador does not exist. Also vandalises pages such as Ecuadorian-Peruvian War, and returns rather frequently. Antandrus 02:57, 7 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] 66.0.239.178

All edits are to Javier Solana (edit|talk|history|links|watch|logs) or its Talk page, all edits are vandalism. RickK 23:58, Feb 4, 2005 (UTC)

  • Blocked repeatedly, keeps coming back for more. Abuses his right to edit Wikipedia by posting obscene, irrelevant and ridiculous text & images into articles, talk pages & user pages.

He will not learn his lesson, stop letting him come back to edit. If you search below, you will also notice entries for this very same vandal on April 17 and April 6. This joke has gone on for too long.

  • As noted on the user page, it's a proxy used by many, many users of the ISP, NTL. Please only block this IP number for short periods because many good contributors are affected. --Tony Sidaway|Talk 14:31, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)
  • I can appreciate that the blocking is controversial, but I don't see any other solution. At the moment we've got a revolving door system: the abusive user simply waits for his brief "ban" to end and then it's chaos all over again. If other users on the same IP are getting annoyed about getting caught in the crossfire they should take a stand by getting their own user names so we can block the IP for longer.

[edit] question about this problem

Is it not possible to allow only logged in users from a "dirty ip". This means you could block anons but allow decent contributors.

[edit] 66.152.221.166.

  • This user seems to like to repeatedly drop nonsense sexual references into articles.

205.188.116.196 (talk · contribs · logs · block user · block log) Repeatedly vandalizing 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake. RickK 06:01, Mar 4, 2005 (UTC)

Still going strong. Just got blocked for a day for more vandalisms. 68.39.174.238 21:05, 3 October 2005 (UTC)
An AOL address. 68.39.174.238 00:55, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Some AOL IPs

Please be watchful of these users and ban while they are vandalizing like today Feb. 3rd, and they have been banned in the past. Apollomelos 23:45, 3 Feb 2005 (UTC)

[edit] User:PoolGuy

Repeat vandalism, wikilawyering, talkpage vandalism, finally exhausts community patience. Still active in creating abusive sockpuppets and continue to maintain the initial block on him was unjustified. [1]
