I hope it isn't a bad idea to make a "to-do list" here. I need to do the following:

Section about rolling stock (assuming someone more qualified doesn't do it) (including pages 188, 206-near the end)
Describe some historic passenger services, like the "Scoot" (pages 170-179) and Montauk services (pages 290 and 295-309)
Describe steamboat operations
Figure out when it lost its Class I status.
Go through the competitors (pages 30-37) and steamboats (pages 80-102).
Possibly mention state hospitals (page 128).
Possibly mention Dashing Dan (page 277)?
Figure out the details of East New York-Jamaica steam ([1] [2])
