The Longview Economic Development Corporation is one of Texas’ major economic development groups and manages the economic development program for the city of Longview, Texas. The Corporation’s professional staff leads a coordinated marketing program with the assistance of many partners throughout the region and is able to provide timely and accurate information to companies planning to expand in Longview. The goal is to help companies excel in the global economy.
Since its inception in 1992, the Longview Economic Development Corporation has assisted hundreds of companies who have created over 8,000 jobs in the region and invested hundreds of millions of dollars.
