Longmont High School is the city of Longmont’s original high school, opening its doors to students in 1901. Steeped in history and tradition, LHS has a focus on excellence—excellence in academics, excellence in co-curricular activities, and excellence in sports. The school is located in central Longmont and serves as the Honors/Advanced Placement Focus School for the St. Vrain Valley School District. LHS has a long rich tradition as a vital, positive contributor in the community.
